Designer & illustrator living in Charlotte, NC. Naturally curious, I enjoy organizing information and solving problems using design. I love to learn and make things.

I proudly work for Nucor, North America's most sustainable steel company. Nucor's steel products are made from 75% (up to 100%) recycled content using one of the cleanest and most energy efficient steel-making processes available. Nucor has also committed to a 35% reduction in GHG intensity by 2030. This will lower Nucor’s GHG emissions intensity of steel mills to 77% less than today’s global steelmaking average.

In my free time, I illustrate tabletop games for board game designer Mark Swanson of Odd Bird Games. The first being Feudum – I enjoyed providing the illustration as well as graphic and package design for the board, boxes, inserts, cards, rulebooks, punchboards and bits. We worked extensively with the production companies to ensure a beautiful end result. It has been released around the world in 12 different languages, thanks to our globalization partners. Feudum has won numerous awards and has been mentioned in Forbes and Popular Mechanics. We were also invited to SXSW for being a 2019 Gamer’s Voice Award nominee. Along with the design aspect of the game, I’m proud that this project brings friends, families and strangers together! Interestingly, this print project was probably the most user-centered design I’ve worked on. From the language-independent iconography to color-blind-friendly pieces, we received large amounts of feedback from passionate users and worked extensively to please everyone.

Occasionally, I get the opportunity to illustrate (and sometimes screen-print) concert posters. One was published in Communication Arts Illustration Annual to my pleasant surprise!
